Only the current version so far — new entries appear as the game ships updates.
This is episode 3. It's a continuation of episode 2, "Cafe Minamo," so it's recommended to start with episode 2.
The story can be completed and solved entirely in episode 3 alone.
Shiomizaka Lighthouse is an escape game where you must escape from a lighthouse that has been unmanned for a long time.
A close childhood friend suddenly disappeared from this town.
One photo at the photo studio, another at the cafe. Both clues in your hand point to the same night.
Twenty years ago, on a summer night when the lighthouse light went out for just one night.
The door to the cape tower was open. As you entered, the door closed behind you, and you heard the sound of a lock being pulled from the outside.
■ The person who works at this lighthouse only writes about the weather.
The logbook only contains entries for sunny, cloudy, rainy, and foggy. That's all.
There's not a single line about who came or what happened.
You'll have to deduce what's not written (what happened) from what is written (the weather). ■ No Dead Ends
No matter what order you investigate, there are no irreversible choices.
You won't lose any items, so you can try everything you can think of.
To prevent situations where you can't solve the puzzle because you made a mistake somewhere,
all steps are checked by a machine before being displayed.
■ Puzzles with Rearrangement Added
In addition to reading and entering numbers, we've added puzzles where you have to manually rearrange things.
When you rearrange the scattered items to return them to the correct shape, the mechanism will activate.
We did this to increase thinking without increasing the amount of reading.
■ Items Now Have Pictures
Items you pick up are displayed with pictures, names, and descriptions.
You can see what you have without reading.
■ Where You Can Investigate is Shown on the Screen
Areas with frames indicate areas you can investigate. Areas where something might happen are highlighted in darker colors.
We believe that the time spent searching for what to press is not the fun part of this game.
■ We've increased the difficulty level from episode 2.
Even those who solved the previous episode will be encouraged to think again, as we've increased the number of questions that require more thought.
However, we haven't hidden any clues or increased the effort required to find them.
All the materials are placed in locations where you can find them by searching.
■ There are three levels of hints.
The first level only tells you "where to look." The next level is the thought process, and the last level is the answer.
The first level is always free to read. Levels two and beyond are unlocked by watching the video.
If you can't watch the video, you can open them directly.
Once you've opened a hint, it won't disappear even if you start over from the beginning.
The answer level is always provided. This is to prevent you from having to search for walkthroughs on other websites.
■ You can write down what you've seen on the spot.
Below the text that appears when you search, there is a "Write Down" option.
What you've written down is accumulated in the recording notes and can be reviewed directly from the screen where you match the numbers.
You won't have to remember the date and numbers while moving between rooms.
■ There's only one puzzle that requires timing.
Even if you don't finish in time, you can try again as many times as you like. You have nothing to lose.
The clock starts ticking when you press "Start."
You can turn it off in the settings if you don't want to feel rushed. The puzzles can still be solved even if you turn it off.
■ Continue from where you left off, no matter where you closed the app.
Your progress is saved after every move. Even if you close the app in the middle of a puzzle, you'll continue from where you left off the next time you open it.
After you've finished solving the puzzle, you can look around the room and reread the conclusion.
■ Ease of Play
・Choose from 10 different color schemes.
・Choose from 4 font sizes.
・Play without an internet connection. Your progress is saved only on your device.
■ About Ads
Ads are displayed to allow you to play for free until the end.
However, nothing will interrupt you while you're solving the puzzles.
Full-screen ads will only appear at intervals when the scene changes.
You can also remove ads with a single payment.
Only the ads will be removed; the rest of the story, hints, and answers will remain free to view until the end.
■ About this work
This is the third story in a series set in the fictional port town of Shiomizaka.
Each story is self-contained, so you can play through to the end with just this one game.
