Pavement Rivals is a location-based street strategy game played on a live map of the real world. Walk your city, claim buildings, build wealth, and compete with other players in shared lobbies. OWN THE STREETS Use your GPS to explore the map and purchase real-world buildings you are physically near. Every property you hold generates passive income — the more you own, the stronger your empire grows. YOUR SAFE HAVEN On your first login, you receive a locked home property at your exact location. While it is your only property, it cannot be attacked, squatted, or taken over. It quietly earns baseline cash and gives every new player a secure foothold. ORGANIC MONOPOLIES There are no preset districts. Form a monopoly by clustering 4–5 properties within a tight radius on the same block. Unlocking a monopoly doubles rent and lets you upgrade from Houses to a Hotel. RENT & RIVALRY Cross onto another player’s turf and you pay rent. Rent scales with upgrades and active monopolies, with a daily wallet cap so you cannot lose everything in one session. SQUAT TO TAKE OVER Rival properties outside your Safe Haven can be squatted. Stand on a tile for 15 minutes to claim it. The owner is alerted after 5 minutes and can bust you by showing up in person or spending cash on a defense. Get busted and you pay a fine. HOTSPOTS & CHANCE Public landmarks — transit hubs, parks, and more — are special tiles where you can draw random tactical or economic cards once every 24 hours. MORE WAYS TO PLAY • Join public or private lobbies with friends • Complete daily quests and scavenger runs • Raid bank vaults, trade contraband, and use tactical cards • Pickpocket nearby rivals in quick-draw showdowns • Chat with players in your lobby (with report and block tools) FAIR PLAY Pavement uses foreground GPS only — no background tracking. Mock and spoofed GPS is detected and rejected to keep the game fair. Location permission is required. Pavement is not directed at children under 13.
