Your hero keeps fighting offline; only the ranking needs a connection. Does it work on the lock screen? Yes, on devices that allow a live wallpaper on that screen. On the home screen it always works. What about with the screen off? Your hero carries on with the adventure. Turn the screen back on and you get the summary of what he collected. Are there ads? None.
