Roost is a calm owl puzzle - pure logic, no guessing. Every board is a wood divided into colourful territories. Exactly one owl roosts in each row, each column and each colour region - and no two owls ever sit next to each other, not even diagonally. Rule out the cells that cannot work, and the owls reveal themselves. Every puzzle is solvable by deduction alone. No time limit, no luck, no dead ends. HOW TO PLAY - One owl per row, per column and per colour region - Owls never touch - not even diagonally - Tap to mark a cell as empty, double-tap to place an owl FEATURES - An endless run of levels: the grid grows from 5x5 to 8x8, with a harder board every seventh level - Stuck? A Hint explains the next logical step; Reveal uncovers one owl - Hints and Reveals come from clean clears, the daily puzzle or a short ad - packs are in the Shop - Hearts keep you honest - a wrong owl costs one - Leaderboard and 27 achievements to chase - Play offline, anywhere, at your own pace - Free to play - Remove banner ads and Restore purchases are in the Shop If you like Sudoku, Nonograms or other one-per-row logic puzzles, you will feel at home in Roost. Roost belongs to the family of one-per-row placement puzzles, sometimes called star battle puzzles, with owls in place of stars. Grids start at 5x5, so the rules click quickly, then grow to 8x8 as your deductions get sharper. It's a brain teaser for anyone who likes sudoku-style logic without the arithmetic. Find every owl's territory.
