EbiEi2 is an English vocabulary learning app that allows you to learn 7,200 questions, from basic English vocabulary for junior and senior high school to vocabulary for the TOEIC®.
It repeatedly presents multiple-choice questions with four options, and incorrect answers are re-presented. Words answered correctly four times in a row are "inducted into the Hall of Fame," making it easier to dedicate study time to words you haven't yet memorized.
You can review English vocabulary during your commute or other spare time, using pronunciation audio and word registration features.
■ 7,200 Questions from Junior and Senior High School to TOEIC®
Includes 4,800 basic English vocabulary questions at the junior and senior high school level and 2,400 English vocabulary questions for the TOEIC®.
It can be used for English learning for junior and senior high school students, reviewing high school English, basic vocabulary learning for those considering university entrance exams, vocabulary learning for the TOEIC®, and for adults looking to relearn.
■ Repeated Multiple-Choice Vocabulary Memorization
Questions are presented randomly.
Incorrectly answered questions are re-presented after a period of time, allowing you to repeatedly review difficult English vocabulary.
■ "Hall of Fame" for Memorized Words
Answering the same question correctly four times in a row will earn you a "Hall of Fame" status.
Hall of Fame words are removed from regular questions, making it easier to focus on words you haven't yet memorized.
When your Hall of Fame rate in a stage exceeds 70%, the next stage is unlocked.
■ Review Design Based on the Forgetting Curve
Based on Ebbinghaus's forgetting curve, the learning design incorporates repeated review.
Instead of just solving a vocabulary question once and being done, you can repeatedly review it through re-presentation.
■ Audio Pronunciation Confirmation
You can play audio pronunciations of English words.
It also supports switching between male and female voices.
■ Register Words for Review
You can register words you're interested in or want to review and check them later.
This can be used separately from regular questions when you want to review difficult vocabulary.
■ Mechanisms to Encourage Continued Learning
There are elements that unlock wallpapers as you progress through your learning. Because you can progress through the problems little by little, you can work on it during spare time such as commuting to school or work, or during breaks.
