Betty Casino
Betty Casino is the "towers" version of Russian checkers, and it turns capturing into building. When you jump an enemy piece it is not removed - its top is lifted and slid underneath your own, growing a column. A tower is commanded by whoever owns the piece on top, and it moves as that piece. Capture an enemy tower and you take only its crown; the pieces below are freed, and their new top decides who now controls the column. Every exchange rewrites who owns what.
You play the cobalt side against a real opponent AI on an eight-by-eight board of dark squares. Men slide forward and capture forward; reach the far row and your top piece becomes a flying king. Captures are forced and chain in a single turn, so a clean multi-jump can stack several prisoners at once.
Twenty stages raise a thinking opponent that searches deeper the further you climb. Clear a stage quickly and lose no pieces for three stars, and bank coins in the shop. No dice, no pay-to-win - just position, foresight, and the constant question of which piece deserves to sit on top.
