FourWays: Race to the Centre — Four Seats. One Tile. No Luck. Forget the chaos of random chance. FourWays is a pure, deterministic four-way race for the middle of the board. Built on an 11x11 grid, every match is a handcrafted battle of foresight, geometry, and table politics. There are no dice, no random power-ups, and no luck. Just you, three rivals, one pawn each, and an arsenal of walls waiting to be dropped. Can you get there first? 🟡 ONE TILE. FOUR CONTENDERS. Every seat starts at the midpoint of its own edge, exactly the same distance from the amber centre tile. First pawn to stand on it wins outright. The catch? Everyone else is racing the same tile, and everyone is carrying walls. Blocking the leader helps you — but it helps the other two just as much. Every wall you spend is a decision about who you're really playing against. ⚡ KEY FEATURES 🤖 Best-Reply Search AI The bots don't fixate on one enemy. A four-way race means the threat can come from any seat, so the AI pools every rival's options and defends against the single strongest reply on the board — searching deeper as the race tightens, and thinking hardest when the centre is nearly in reach. ⏳ Decaying Neutral Walls The board starts pre-populated with unpredictable neutral walls on limited lifespans. With every turn, their counters tick down. When they expire, they vanish — abruptly reopening closed lanes or forcing you to rebuild your route from scratch. 🦘 Jump the Traffic With four pawns converging on one tile, the middle gets crowded fast. A pawn directly in your path is an opportunity: hop straight over it if the far side is clear. The right jump can close the last two squares in a single turn. ⚡ The Extra Move Advantage Timing is everything. Once per match, deploy your Extra Move to break the turn order. Use it to surge the final stretch, or to drop a wall on the leader the instant before they cross. 🔄 Pass-and-Play for Four Challenge up to three friends around a single device. The board turns 90 degrees to face whoever is up, so every player reads the grid the right way round from their own seat. ⭐ GAMEPLAY HIGHLIGHTS • Pure strategy. A zero-luck race where victory is a testament to your pathfinding instincts. • The Golden Path rule. Block anyone you like, but nobody can ever be sealed off. A route to the centre must always exist for all four seats. • Four-way tension. Two, three, or four pawns one step from the middle — the finishes are genuinely tight. • Tactical rewind. Built-in undo lets you explore a different line and test "what if" against the bots. • Minimalist tactical aesthetic. Rounded cells, four clean seat colours, a single amber goal, and move hints in your own colour. The edges are set. The centre is open. Four ways in — only one way to win. Download FourWays today and take the middle.
