Initial release includes nine puzzles across Foothills, Cloudline and Summit, cactus placement and removal, Support Pegs, in-game rules, pause and retry controls, separate audio sliders, and a reduced-motion setting.
Only the current version so far — new entries appear as the game ships updates.
Little cacti. Lofty ambitions.
Yarlark is a portrait puzzle game set at a mountain cable station. Fill a hex board with cheerful cacti, one supported placement at a time.
Build from the base
Start on a B base. Every cactus on a numbered target needs an occupied neighbor with a lower number. Neighbors on the same tier do not count. Plan a chain of support before you place the next cactus.
Three mountain climbs
Choose Foothills, Cloudline or Summit. Each route contains three puzzles, for nine authored puzzles in total. Complete a climb within four active minutes while watching each puzzle's move and support-error limits.
Place, take and reconsider
Tap a target and choose Place, or drag a cactus from the tray. Take a cactus back only when the others stay supported. A Support Peg turns a numbered target into a fixed base.
A moment to think
Pause a climb, reopen the rules or retry a puzzle. Music and sound-effect volumes have separate controls, and a reduced-motion setting is available.
The game interface is in English.
