Trailer
You went through the wrong door. Behind it: damp carpet, humming lights and yellow wallpaper that runs further than it has any right to. There is no way out. There is a workbench, a furnace, and whatever the last expedition left behind.
Backrooms Craft is survival and crafting in an endless liminal space. Pull abandoned furniture apart for materials, make tools, build a base, and push further out from it — to where things get genuinely strange.
MINE AND MAKE
A chair comes apart into sticks, sticks become a torch, boards become a workbench. Then stone tools, then steel, each one opening what the last could not touch. The furnace smelts the metal you find, the salvage bench pulls parts out of furniture and equipment, the disposal chute takes away what you do not want.
A BASE THAT STAYS
The Backrooms rearrange themselves every time you start the game. The first hall does not. A yellow line on the floor marks the border: everything built inside it stays where you left it — blocks, stations, the furniture you hauled home. Past the line, nothing holds.
SURVIVAL
Health, hunger, thirst and your grip on things. Almond water quenches and steadies the mind, tinned food feeds, a bandage closes what bit you. In the dark zones a torch is not decoration — it is the only thing between you and whatever walks there.
WHAT LIVES HERE
The Boo Cat is harmless. The Faceling just stands. The Observer watches. The Smiler grins out of the dark, and the Pirate knows exactly what to do with that sabre. The Hunter lives furthest out — and you will not meet it because time passed, but because you walked that far from home.
ZONES AND ANOMALIES
Poolrooms in white tile and standing water. Server halls in blue half-light. Warehouses with racking to the ceiling. Hotel corridors, tunnels, shopping floors. Between them: silent rooms, flickering zones, inverted halls, towers built of chairs and doors that lead nowhere. Locked rooms open to coloured keys. Anomalous seams open to a resonance drill.
THE FIELD JOURNAL
Everything you find gets written up. Levels, anomalies, entities, discoveries — every entry stays in the journal for good, even after the world reshuffles itself.
DON'T GET LOST
Chalk arrows on the floor outlive the corridor they are drawn in. Plant beacons. Carry a compass home, an ear horn to hear what is coming, a zone detector to know where you are walking.
CONTROLS
Stick on the left, look with your finger, round pads for jump and crouch. Hold on a block to mine, tap to place, use or hit. Played in landscape.
Fully playable offline. Ads are there to pay for the work, and nothing else.
