A massively multiplayer 4X strategy game where the entire galaxy moves once per tick. Astral Sovereignty is an MMO for people who'd rather think than click. You and every other commander share one persistent galaxy. Give orders whenever it suits you — on the bus, over coffee, before bed — and when the tick comes, every empire's orders resolve together, simultaneously, under identical rules. No reflexes. No being out-clicked. Just better decisions than the empire next door. The galaxy keeps running whether or not you are logged in. EXPLORE Thousands of star systems, and almost none of them charted. Send fleets to survey warp nodes and scan worlds; the routes you find are yours before anyone else's. Set a fleet to explore on its own and it charts its way outward, surveys the node it came through so it can always find its way home, and reports back when it has something worth telling you. EXPAND Found colonies on the worlds you have scanned. Grow their populations, raise structures, work out what each rock is actually good for, and turn a hostile system into somewhere your ships can refit. EXPLOIT Extract resources, store them, and move them where they are needed. Design your own ships module by module — hulls, engines, cargo, armour, weapons — certify the blueprint, and lay them down at your shipyards. Standing convoys and one-shot transfers keep the supply lines running between visits. DEFEND Fleets fight when hostile forces meet. You set each fleet's stance and your posture toward other empires in advance, because you will not be awake for every encounter. When two fleets end a tick in the same place you get a contact report — one full tick before anything can happen — so there is always a window to retreat, prepare, or say hello. Every battle is resolved by the game itself, under the same rules for everyone. And a colony can be taken: train troops, carry them across the stars, and fight for the ground once the orbit is yours. RESEARCH On galaxies that run it, ten tiers of technology open new hulls, modules, structures and orbital shipyards. Research is paid for in research points and nothing else — no materials, no hidden fees. Queue your projects and the work carries on while you sleep. DIPLOMACY Set your standing toward every empire you meet, found an alliance or join one, keep private notes on your rivals, and recruit officers to lead your fleets. AN HONEST GALAXY • NPC empires are resolved by the same tick, the same combat and the same build rules you are — no hidden combat bonuses. The one thing they skip today is fuel, which they do not manage yet • A power leaderboard ranks every empire on your shard by fleet strength and colony development • Reports say what happened and why, including which order failed and what stopped it • No energy bars, no timers to pay away, no loot boxes, no pay-to-win.
