Reedwell is a portrait, one-finger 2.5D spatial tuning game set inside a cliffside monastery. Its great pipe organ has fallen silent after years of shifted stoppers, uneven wind paths, and misaligned reed pulses. You play a travelling tuner who restores each hymn from a fixed front-facing cutaway. Drag the glowing stopper up or down, compare the solid length bracket with the notched target, and watch the circle, square, triangle, and diamond pulse marks. When the visible evidence agrees, pump the bellows. One deterministic result drives the rule overlay, the pipe state, and the 3D organ performance, so the visual response always matches the actual judgment.
The playable first release contains eight distinct tunings with increasing difficulty. Open Pipe teaches one stopper. Third Pair introduces relative length across three pipes. Split Wind couples pipe length with shared airflow. Processional adds staged locks and a response section. Reed Tongue asks you to align a reed collar with its flanking pipes. Echo Gallery combines direct and delayed pulse paths. Leaking Bellows tests pressure planning across a drop. Grand Recital ends the campaign with a three-stage performance that combines stopper placement, split wind, phase, echo, pressure, beating, and starvation. Adjacent levels use different mechanic combinations, and progression changes the decisions rather than merely increasing a number.
The first session is a playable three-step tutorial. It exposes one draggable stopper, one clear target, and the Pump Bellows confirmation. Pressing, dragging, snapping, matching, failing, and succeeding all produce immediate shape, outline, motion, and sound feedback. A failed pump keeps your current layout and identifies a specific pipe and correction direction. A successful tuning expands the bellows, lights the organ pipes in sequence, forms a chord ring, and opens a report with a star rating, Tuner Seals, Felt Shims, a Pipe Rubbing, collection progress, and the next unlocked tuning.
Bellows Choice creates a meaningful decision between steadier air, a protected notch, or a brighter score. Reed Archive stores the eight shipped rubbing records and best-move results. The game supports mute and reduced motion. Silent play retains brackets, notches, pulse shapes, air bands, and readable result markers. Reduced motion removes vibration and camera movement while preserving an equivalent final state.
Advertising is optional and limited to recovery or reward acceleration. A rewarded placement may restore the latest verse, redraw a choice, grant a daily seal reward, or double an eligible completed report. It never tunes a pipe automatically, reveals the correct stopper positions, or imposes a mandatory energy system. Every store image is built around a real English Godot mobile-renderer capture. Reedwell does not claim real acoustic simulation, microphone pitch recognition, rhythm tapping, a free camera, or online ensemble play.
