Ecuabet is a grid-based forest adventure that focuses on route planning, careful movement, collecting items, and avoiding hazards. Guide various animals along forest paths, gather all the necessary items, find a safe route through the map, and reach the house to complete each level. Each stage offers a clearly structured route where observation and thoughtful decisions will help you progress.
Controls are simple swipe gestures. Swipe horizontally or vertically to move the animal one space at a time on the grid. Each move can lead to a collectible, the final destination, or a section of the path that requires a different route. Trees, rocks, and water block movement, so it's important to carefully consider the available paths before venturing through a level.
Roby Animal Quest rewards continuous collection with a combo system. Picking up an item increases the current combo, and each consecutive collection earns progressively more points. An efficient route can therefore help maintain a longer streak while simultaneously moving the animal closer to the remaining objectives.
Not every area of the forest is safe. Thorn fields pose a danger and cost you a life upon entering. After being hit, the owl returns to its starting position, and the current combo is reset. This makes choosing the right route especially important, particularly when multiple paths lead to the same collectible.
Moving owl patrols add an extra challenge. These patrols repeatedly travel along predetermined horizontal or vertical paths during the active level. Entering a space occupied by a patrol inflicts damage. A patrol can also reach the owl while it is stationary on the path. Observing their movement patterns and choosing the right moment to cross their route becomes a crucial part of safely navigating the forest.
Each collected item contributes to the current score. Consecutive collections increase the combo, while the selected difficulty level applies its own score multiplier. Completing a stage grants additional points, and the remaining lives also contribute to the final score. This provides several opportunities to improve one's own performance while simultaneously pursuing the clear main goal.
