A little creature, three nightfruit, and a garden that shifts between light and shadow.
Umbra Hop is a portrait 2D timing puzzle set in an ink-wash night garden. Guide a small blue creature across a five-by-five grid of leaves, collect all three nightfruit, and reach the moon gate.
Each step is a choice. Drag from your leaf to a neighboring leaf, then release to hop. The lantern light changes every six seconds. Landing in light costs a leaf, while staying still lets you watch the rhythm and plan your route. Three hits end the crossing.
Permanent shade offers safe places to return to after a hit. A Shade Seed can turn a lit neighboring tile into temporary shade for 24 seconds. Seeds are optional, and the home screen offers an optional rewarded ad for an extra seed.
The garden includes a light-cycle indicator, a best-score record, and pause and restart controls. Sound and reduced-motion settings let you adjust the presentation.
Painted leaves, glowing purple fruit, original music and quiet sound effects accompany the crossing.
