Initial release with three-stage safe puzzles, twelve-notch dial controls, direction and distance clues, Chalk Notch hints, interactive practice, pause and restart, saved best scores and inventory, music and sound controls.
Only the current version so far — new entries appear as the game ships updates.
Three secret notches are hidden inside a chalk-drawn safe. In Dial Doodle, each turn and each clue brings you closer to opening it.
Drag the brass dial to one of twelve notches, then tap Set. A wrong guess tells you which way to turn and how far to look: clockwise or counterclockwise, Near for one or two notches, and Far for three to six. Use the clues to narrow the possibilities and solve each lock in sequence.
Four wrong guesses on a lock leave you in the game. The fifth ends the run. A correct answer locks in that notch, moves you to the next stage, and resets the mistake count.
Your clue history stays with you throughout the run. Ruled-out notches are crossed on the dial, and Chalk Notch items can remove half the remaining candidates once per lock when at least three remain. Every safe can be solved without an item.
An interactive practice turn introduces the controls. Pause whenever you need time to think, restart with a new safe, or return for another puzzle after opening all three locks. Your best score and unused Chalk are saved.
Hand-drawn textures, a warm brass dial, gentle music and small mechanical sounds give each puzzle its own quiet rhythm. Sound can be switched off, and the game interface is in English.
