Keelrise is a portrait 3D ballast puzzle set inside a working island shipyard. Each shift brings four vessels into the dry dock. Read the hull's roll, pitch, draft, cradle clearance, and overhead risk, then choose a transfer amount with the clear minus and plus controls. Drag from one ballast tank to another to select the route. Drag distance never changes the amount, and the pump automatically limits a transfer when the source is low or the receiving tank is nearly full.
The first playable release contains eight progressively harder shifts and thirty-two hands-on vessel jobs. Even Keel teaches lateral balance. Bow Trim introduces fore and aft weight. Cross Roll combines both axes with side clearance. Tide Gate Trial changes the available manifold across several tide phases. Crane Clearance adds a real overhead constraint. Twin Hull evaluates the two pontoons independently. Breach Control combines flooding, isolation, and limited pump strokes. Harbor Relaunch closes the campaign with four distinct stages that move from leveling through lifting, cradle movement, and launch.
Four readable vessel silhouettes combine with eight visible equipment sets, so the workboat, courier, rescue craft, and tug remain recognizable while pumps, cargo, roll pods, fender racks, cranes, bridge decks, breach plates, and relaunch signals change with the job. Every preview, committed transfer, 3D attitude, collision marker, phase transition, and final report comes from the same deterministic ballast result.
A three-step playable tutorial introduces the first transfer, the safe-envelope signal, and the lift. Tank levels update immediately, the vessel settles with animation, and layered sound confirms selection, pumping, contact, success, or failure. Intermediate tide phases lock in place without pretending that the vessel has already left the dock. The first three completed vessels lead to a Pump Choice that changes the next engineering decision, while the fourth vessel proceeds directly to the Lift Report.
Pump Chits support the current run, Dock Seals advance restoration, and the Vessel Ledger records completed work. Optional rewarded ads can restore a safe tide state, redraw a Pump Choice, or increase a completed reward. They never solve the puzzle, reveal the correct sequence, or consume forced energy. Ad requests include an explicit waiting state, timeout handling, cooldowns, and success-only rewards. Keelrise supports English and Simplified Chinese, music and sound toggles, reduced motion, left-handed layout, and high contrast. All shown 3D scenes are captured from the actual Godot Mobile renderer; the game does not claim free cameras, simulated fluids, online multiplayer, or offline cinematic models.
