## Escape from the Ancient Ruins
Rumors circulate about an ancient ruin in the mountains of Tohoku.
An archaeology professor visiting to investigate slips and falls into the unfamiliar interior of the ruins.
Initially, he begins his investigation out of curiosity as an archaeologist facing an unknown site.
He measures the rooms, creates maps, and searches for clues left behind in the ruins.
However, as he continues his investigation, he notices that the stairs leading down are submerged in water.
He cannot return to the outside.
He must escape from here—
### Explore 8 Stages
Investigate the structure of the ruins, gather clues, and solve puzzles to progress.
The smartphone is equipped with tools for investigation, such as a flashlight, magnifying glass, camera, and sound wave measurement app.
Some apps cannot be used unless accessories lost during the fall are found.
### It's Not Just About "Escape"
Who built this ruin, when, and for what purpose?
What technology was used, and what materials were employed?
As you investigate the ruins, you'll be able to conduct archaeological investigations, such as deciphering ancient scripts and identifying stones.
Elements discovered during your investigation are unlocked as related "ruin trivia," and collecting them will gradually reveal the overall picture of the ruins.
### How to Interpret the Ruins
There are several interpretations of events that occur at the ruins.
"Cosmic"
"Mystical"
"Realistic"
"Technical"
You can choose how to interpret up to 10 events.
The accumulation of these choices leads to approximately 16 different perspectives on the true nature of the ruins, which are revealed in the ending.
And, after clearing the first ending, another route will open up.
This game has two endings.
### Production Rules Imposed on the Creator
I set several rules for myself when creating this game.
* No gimmicks with unknown power sources.
* No lighting effects with unknown light sources.
* Mechanisms should be realistic and be plausible for an ancient ruin.
* Since it's an ancient ruin, the metal should be rusted. Avoid mechanisms that rely on metal.
* Mechanisms should primarily be made of stone.
Instead of mechanisms that "just work somehow because it's a game,"
**If this ruin really existed, how would it have worked?**
This is what we considered while creating the game.
"Wouldn't it be great if an ancient ruin like this actually existed?"
That's where this game began.
### Lightweight 3D Escape Game
This game was planned and produced by an individual.
Using Flutter and Three.js, we focused on making a lightweight 3D ruin exploration game.
The app size is less than 20MB.
We didn't rely on a large game engine, instead focusing on essential components.
### Explore a Quiet Ruin
This game is not a horror game.
Within the ruins, exploration proceeds in a generally quiet environment.
BGM plays only during the opening and ending.
Otherwise, the focus is on sound effects, emphasizing the feeling of walking alone through the quiet ruins.
Explore the ruins in first-person perspective, solve puzzles, investigate, and uncover the truth.
Estimated playtime: Approximately 2 hours
The navigation function allows even beginners to explore.
Experienced players can turn off navigation and explore the ruins relying solely on their own senses.
