Claywhorl is a portrait 2.5D pottery-profile puzzle about restoring the last public kiln in a mountain town. Accept an order from the district wheel, return to the shaping bench, and rebuild a lost vessel one readable band at a time. The main gesture is deliberately simple: drag a glowing body, shoulder, or rim band horizontally until the wet-clay edge settles inside the gold target channel. The two-dimensional profile and the central three-dimensional vessel update from the same samples, while clay use and capacity respond immediately. Lock every required band, press Fire, and receive a result that belongs to the shape you actually made. The complete campaign spans four districts: Open Wheel, Tea Quarter, Lantern Street, and Archive Kiln. There are forty kiln runs with four vessel orders in every run. Early work begins with forgiving two-band profiles and a three-step playable tutorial. Later firings add shoulder-to-body continuity, tighter capacity ranges, inherited clay budgets, variable shrinkage, linked profile bands, limited undo, and four communal-firing milestones. Difficulty rises through authored rules and vessel silhouettes rather than random targets. A failed firing identifies the first useful problem on the vessel itself. Wide areas, narrow gaps, broken curvature, excess clay, and capacity errors use distinct shapes, outlines, correction arrows, cracks, and short sounds. Retry restores an interactive initial body and clears the previous locks, so the next attempt can be shaped immediately. Success reveals the fired glaze and records the deterministic result used by the report and collection views. After an order, choose one of three Kiln Marks. The current set contains twenty-eight Marks that can change available information, tolerance, clay pressure, shrinkage, or risk rewards without directly editing the player's profile. Twelve workshop equipment upgrades add readouts, history, and convenience. Sixteen achievements track profile control, capacity, clay efficiency, and progress. The Vessel Cabinet contains forty-eight records with fired forms, local stories, collected variants, and best replays. Kiln Seals unlock districts and repair equipment, while Clay Slips redraw a Mark offer. Rewarded advertising is optional and player initiated. It may grant daily Kiln Seals, restore one failed shape, provide a free Mark redraw, or double a completed reward. An unavailable, cancelled, failed, or timed-out ad grants nothing and does not consume the attempt. Low-frequency interstitials are only attempted on selected returns to the yard and use a cooldown plus an input-blocking waiting state. Ads never shape a vessel, sell a perfect profile, or skip an order. There is no forced energy system. Claywhorl supports English and Simplified Chinese, separate music and sound controls, left-handed auxiliary controls, high-contrast profiles, active-run saving, and Reduce Motion. Reduced motion replaces shake, vibration, debris, and strong kiln flicker with readable outlines, stamps, cracks, final-state fades, and concise audio. The visuals come from the real Godot mobile compatibility renderer. Claywhorl is an offline single-player profile puzzle, not a promise of unrestricted freehand 3D sculpting, a general clay-fluid simulation, a free camera, or online multiplayer.
