VOWELS: A O E U I Y LEARNING LETTERS – PREPARING FOR READING AND WRITING LETTER FUN is a game-based educational app designed for effective and enjoyable letter learning. The program covers all the letters of the alphabet – from vowels to consonants – and introduces the concept of a syllable. The tasks are designed to first introduce new material, then allow for consolidation and testing of acquired skills. Each set includes a group of letters related by articulation. DEVELOPING ATTENTION AND AUDITORY SENSITIVITY The program uses background sounds that imitate natural environmental sounds, such as conversations, street noise, or nature sounds. The goal is to develop the ability to focus on a task despite the presence of distracting stimuli – which can be particularly helpful for individuals with heightened auditory sensitivity. The difficulty level adjusts automatically – if the user has difficulty completing an exercise, the intensity of the background sounds decreases; with correct answers, it increases. This feature supports the process of normalizing auditory sensitivity and developing concentration. You can also temporarily mute the background sounds by holding the speaker icon for 1.5 seconds. This feature automatically activates with the next exercise. WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR? The app was designed with preschoolers and early childhood students in mind – it supports speech and communication development, and prepares them for learning to read and write.
