The bombs fell long ago. The radios never stopped. A lonely pre-war caretaker AI — the Signal — still broadcasts across the wasteland, and it has taken Wren. Pack the scrap gun and a pocket full of caps: Cass is going after her. Ashen Reach is a hand-crafted 16-bit platformer set in a sun-bleached 1950s atompunk wasteland. Leap across ruined suburbs, toxic sludge flats, collapsed highways, a frozen reactor zone and the glowing heart of the Reach, blast mutants with scrap-built weapons, and find the lost pre-war echo-reels the Signal forgot. • 40 hand-built levels across five regions: The Outskirts, The Sludge Flats, The Broken Highway, The Freeze and The Reach • 13 mutant and machine enemies — Rad-Hounds, Glowmutts, Bloatflies, Ashstingers, Bloat Grubs, Scav Hawks, Screech Drones and more • Four salvaged weapons: Scrap Shot, Laser Cell, Plasma Bolt and Tesla Arc • Retro sodas with real kick: Zoom Cola, Hop Pop, Fury Fizz, Iron Tonic • Collect bottle caps, trade at Pyle's Caravan and upgrade Cass at Camp • Three stars per level — speed, echo-reels and a clean run • 11 hidden echo-reels that tell the story of the old world — and a full story with a real ending • Tight touch controls, gamepad support, plays offline • Pixel art and music made for the wasteland No energy timers. Play at your own pace. Optional ads and purchases only.
